David Soliz
Manager
Coach Soliz joined the Conejo Oaks coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2006 and quickly transitioned to Manager. Soliz led the Oaks to two State Championship victories in 2018 and this past season in 2024. Soliz graduated from Rio Mesa High School in 1990; attended Cal State Los Angeles and graduated in 1994. He was an Assistant Coach for Cal State Los Angeles from 1995-1999. Coach Soliz served as the Head Coach at Rio Mesa High School for 23 years (1999-2022). Soliz led the Spartans to win 6 Pacific View League Championships and has been named 3x Coach of the Year. He now serves as the Head Coach at Ventura College (2023-Present).
Joe Garcia
Bench Coach
Coach Garcia was an assistant coach at Thousand Oaks High High School for 12 years and an Assistant Coach at Moorpark College for 2 years. Garcia graduated from University High School in 1972 and then continued on at the University of California, Los Angeles to earn a Business degree in 1978. Coach Garcia has been with the oaks since 2006 - Present.
Yoshi Shiratori
Athletic Trainer
Yoshi has been the Athletic Trainer for the Oaks since 2012. He is currently the Head Athletic Trainer at Oxnard College. Previously he has worked at Cal St. Northridge, Stony Brook University, Niagara University, and George Washington University. He received his bachelor's degree in English Literature from Doshisha University in Japan (1998) and in Exercise Science from University at Buffalo (2001) ... Shiratori completed his master's degree in Exercise Science (Exercise, Nutrition and Eating Behavior track) from George Washington in August of 2003. Shiratori has been a NATABOC certified athletic trainer since 2001. He has been a certified strength and conditioning specialist since 2002. He holds other credentials: Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner (CKTP), Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR), and ImPACT Trained Athletic Trainer (ITAT).

Jose Valle
1st Base Coach
A 1999 Rio Mesa High School graduate, Coach Valle began his coaching career at Rio Mesa in 2021, where he served as the head coach for the Frosh/Soph team for 3 years. Also in 2021, he began coaching with the Conejo Oaks serving as the Outfielders Coach, and more recently has transitioned to the Bench/1B Coach. He is also an Assistant Coach with the Ventura College Pirates. From 1999 to 2013, he served in the United States Army, upon his honorable discharge, he went on to attend California State University Channel Islands, where he graduated in 2019 with his Bachelor of Arts in History and then went on to earn his Master’s in Sports Administration from the University of Miami (FL) in 2022.
Scott Radinsky
Pitching Coach
Coach Scott Radinsky was 18 years old when he drafted by the Chicago White Sox out of Simi Valley High School. As a former left-handed relief pitcher, Scott Radinsky played professional baseball from 1990-1993 & 1995-2001. In addition to the White Sox (1990-1993 & 1995), Radinsky played for the Los Angeles Dodgers (1996-1998), St. Louis Cardinals (1999-2000), and the Cleveland Guardians (2001) throughout his MLB career. Radinsky began his coaching career in 2005 for the South Atlantic League's Lake County Captains. Additionally, he was the pitching coach for the Akron Aeros (2006) and the Buffalo Bisons (2007-2008), and head coach for the Columbus Clippers (2009). In 2010, Radinsky rejoined Cleveland's major league team as bullpen coach and transitioned into the pitching coach from 2011-2012. He stepped into the Los Angeles Dodgers organization as the pitching coach for the Ogden Raptors (2013), the Chattanooga Lookouts (2014), and the Oklahoma City Dodgers (2015). Soon after, he became the bullpen coach for the Los Angeles Angeles from 2016-2018. In 2023, he became head coach for the Dutch club UVV in Utrecht, Netherlands. Radinsky has been with the Conejo Oaks from 2021-2023 & present.
Rebecca Willson
Assistant General Manager
Rebecca joined the Conejo Oaks in 2018 when her brother, a coach at the time, asked if she could help out with game day operations and she has been with the team ever since. Rebecca took on more roles as the summers went on and now, she is the Assistant GM. She graduated from San Jose State University in 2016 with a Bachelors in Hospitality Management. Shortly after graduating Rebecca took a different route and went into teaching to get her credential and Master’s Degree. She is currently a middle school PE teacher in Oxnard. Having summers off gave her the perfect opportunity to work in the event/sports world with the Oaks. “The environment is what brings me back every summer. The dedicated coaches and staff are genuine good people who love the game of baseball. You can’t beat a summer baseball game in eighty-degree weather!” says Rebecca. (2018-Present)
Makenna Soliz
Director of Operations
Makenna began working for the Conejo Oaks in 2017 as a Game Day Operations intern and transitioned to Director of Operations in 2021. Soliz graduated from Boise State University in 2023 with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. After working with the Oaks for a few years, she realized that Sports Management was the career for her. In addition to working for the Oaks, Soliz works for the California Collegiate League as Business Operations Manager and Showcase Game Coordinator, and interns for the Rose Bowl Premium Seating team under Legends Hospitality.
